A class for beginners which will help you learn the building blocks needed for a solid foundation in your yoga practice. The intention for this class is to help increase your body-awareness and connect you to your strength within.

As well as introducing poses, alignment and breathing techniques, we’ll be introducing different styles of yoga so that students can choose the best class to move on to after the course.

Beginners & Improvers Classes

Starting February the 3rd

A class for complete beginners as well as improvers who would like to gain confidence in their practice before continuing to other forms of yoga.


Restorative Yoga

  • Slow Pace
  • Gentle Heat : 25°C
  • Suitable for beginners

Relieve stress and anxiety in this slow paced class where poses are held for a few breaths at a time to allow for deep stretching as well as relaxation. Beneficial to those wanting back pain relief or just some time to unwind.

Perfect for: Those who prefer a gentle class to stretch and de-stress in a calm environment.

Slow Flow Yoga

  • Medium Paced

  • Suitable for beginners

Slow Hatha flow – a blend of classic postures, deep stretching and calming breathwork to revive the body, restore the balance and and calm the mind. A nourishing class that will help students embrace and embody the connection between mind, body and breath.

Perfect for: Those who prefer a more traditional style yoga class for a sense of calm.

Chair Yoga (non-profit)

  • Suitable for those with mobility limitations - all are welcome!

A class for ALL bodies, particularly those who would benefit from additional time and support to adapt the practice to particular needs – including mobility limitations due to injury, disability, age or weight.

These sessions are FREE to book, students are welcome to make a cash donation of choice which will go towards charity.

* Unfortunately the size of the building does not allow for a disabled loo, so this class would not be advisable for those who require wheelchair access. Please get in touch if you would like more information about the classes. we can also help to arrange assistant carers to assist during class at an additional fee if required.

Perfect for: Those who would like a bit of extra time and support to adjust a yoga practice to particular needs or injuries.


Gentle Flow Pilates

A calming slow flowing movement class, gently build strength to allow for better movement and joint health and ending with 10 minutes relaxation.. Can be adapted for people with specific injuries.

Perfect for: Beginners, improvers or people with injuries.

Tai Chi

The class is suitable for all ages & will help to improve posture & balance through correct alignment. Benefits include  reduced stress and releasing innate energy, all through slow, controlled & continuous weight shifting postures learnt individually then placed in sequence. “

Perfect for: Students of all ages looking for a low-impact class to promote balance, mobility, and strengthening of joints.

Yoga Nidra

A Yogic sleep class. This class will guide you into a state of deep relaxation whilst keeping mental awareness. Consisting of one yoga pose, savasana, this is suitable for all levels of physical fitness.

Perfect for: Those who want to relax, reconnect and fully unwind.

Vinyasa Yoga

  • Better suited to individuals who already have moderate mobility & strength

An active session in a warm room where we flow from one pose to the next with a focus on breath and body awareness. Variations are available for newcomers.

Perfect for: Those who like an energetic flowing class which varies weekly and includes challenging poses.

Hot Yoga

These classes are hot and sweaty, delivering circulatory and cardiovascular benefits.

Perfect for: Those who like to sweat, build strength and track progression.

Ashtanga Yoga

  • Suitable for mist levels (but recommended for those who want a stronger practice)

A traditional structured yoga class with energetic sequences. The focus is on breath synchronising with a progressive series of postures. 

Perfect for: Those who like a traditional yoga class rooted in philosophy to progressively build strength and flexibility.

Pilates Core Strength

  • We recommend beginners attend the Slow Flow Pilates Class before attending this session.

A class focused on dynamic flowing movement, building body strength and encouraging joint health. An active class that may even break you into a sweat!

Perfect for: men and women free of injury, looking for an active class to build core strength.

Yoga Challenger

  • Medium Pace
  • Gentle Heat : 25°C
  • Better suited to individuals who are already practicing yoga or other forms of exercise.
  • Not suited to individuals with shoulder, neck or back injuries.

Balance flexibility with inner core strength. This class focuses on the strength side of yoga and will include work on arm balances such as handstands.

Perfect for: Students who would like to work towards more challenging poses such as arm balances.

Strength with Grace

  • Suitable for most levels*

A strong Yoga class intended for people who love to be challenged and are also looking to keep their muscles flexible to enable them to
move with fluidity.

Perfect for: Students who would like to build strength and be challenged.

** We recommend you consult with your doctor before undertaking any physical activity during pregnancy. Some classes are suitable only from 12 weeks onwards to those who have an existing yoga practice. Please check with the tutor of a session to discuss suitability.

* Suitable for most levels : Beginners welcome, and teachers will provide variations on poses where required. Please note that some classes are more physically strenuous than others, so we recommend you contact a member of our team to check suitability.
